How is the episode constructed? Why?

~      It has a range of performances from Sam smith then he sings some covers.

~      Loosely constructed allows the audience to feel as though they are in a relaxed audience

Who is the target audience? Why?

~      I think it’s more for adults as most of the audience is adults and its more mature songs                                  (not really pop) for his distinctive voice so appeals to a wide range of audiences

~   Diverse as the backup singers are of different ethnicities and different genders and the                                 host Clara is from black community and Sam smith is part of lqbtq+ community so its all-                           inclusive. Therefore appealing to a wide audience

                   ~    primary audience 15-21 secondary audience 20-28

                   ~   men and women

What is the audience address of The Radio 1 Live Lounge in terms of its content and style?

~        It appeals to the audience because of its range of celebrities which you get to hear and the cover songs that they get to hear the audience sing and move their hands which makes the  live lounge more interactive asking the audience to be more engaged.

~       It's quite informal as they chat to the audience and urges everyone to sing along like a concert, feel connected so they share personal experiences so it's more intimate for them and the audience.
